It has been a while since I talked about my personal training business. For the last few months, I have been working hard on building Champion Mommy Fitness brand; I created a logo representing new moms being champions after post-partum and working towards and building their bodies back; I designed a “SnapBack that Body” program- a 6 weeks fitness program that is designed to help new moms reach their fitness goals and get back to their pre-baby body weight.
As a mom of an 18 month old son, I understand how hard and discouraging it can be in trying to snap back to normal weight after
giving birth. That inspired me to create the 6 week program. It has been more of social media postings to create a presence and market
myself with promotional pictures, videos, workout videos and doing other things to attract clients as part of my social media ventures include going live on Instagram every Saturday reaching out and enlightening my clients and prospective clients on regaining their bodies back. Going live can be nerve wrecking because you can’t edit or restart the videos. You have to just keep going even if you
mess up. Sometimes I get nervous about watching the live video replay because I didn’t want to look at myself on camera, but I was able to watch it as a new mom to get feedback on it.
My social media experience has exposed me to many technical abilities like how to edit videos, merge videos and so much that I didn’t know before. Also, I never knew how companies or people were
able to send you an email and it comes daily well that is through email automation. Who knew that creating these emails can be so tedious from developing what words to say to communicate that message to the clients. Also these companies know your names through
their email lists.
There is so much stuff behind the scenes that go into building a business that can be cumbersome and make you want to quit. However I am looking towards the future by building a business that I can leave for my son.
